October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — Patriots Wear Pink
Until November 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM EDT
We wear pink · We play for a purpose · We support · We spread awareness. All October, BJP Patriots athletes wear pink to support those affected by breast cancer, honor survivors and remember those we have lost — and to remind our athletes that their health matters. Did you know? 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime; men can get it too (about 1 in 100 diagnoses). Found early, the 5-year survival rate is about 99%. Early detection saves lives. For our athletes: know your body, pay attention to changes, and tell a parent, coach, school nurse or trusted adult if something doesn't feel right. Strong athletes take care of their health. Together we are stronger.
